Started in 1993 as The Queer Guide, Scene Magazine has been at the heart of LGBTQ+ life in Brighton and Hove for more than 30 years. Born in Brighton, read across the UK: Scene combines trusted journalism with a strong digital presence that reaches an engaged national audience. Scene is published by Pride Community Foundation.

Print edition

A full colour A4 magazine published seasonally. The inaugural print relaunch edition coincides with LGBTQ+ History Month 2026, with the Pride edition following in summer. 2,500 copies per issue, distributed at LGBTQ+ venues and by post.

Digital platform

scenemag.co.uk publishes daily news, features, and culture coverage. 59,636 monthly unique users and 75,373 monthly page views, with a UK-wide audience anchored in Brighton and Hove.

The Official Brighton and Hove Pride Guide 2026

In partnership with Pride Community Foundation, Scene produces the only publication listing all three of Brighton's LGBTQ+ festivals. Distributed freely across the city and available as a digital edition with interactive map.

The guide covers all three events across the summer season, from Bear auctions and queer poetry slams to marches, parades, and global music icons. A handy A6 pocket guide distributed at LGBTQ+ venues across Brighton and Hove.
